Shri Badrinath Temple, Vasai
About
Shri Badrinath Temple (also known as Mini Badrinath Dham or Vasai Badrinath Mandir) in Vasai West is a beautiful replica of the original Badrinath Temple in Uttarakhand. Inaugurated on 22 April 2026, this newly opened temple has quickly become a popular spiritual destination for devotees in the Mumbai region.
What makes it special
Built by the Uttaranchal Mitra Mandal (UMM), the temple is designed to closely resemble the original Badrinath Dham. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (as Badri Vishal) and also houses idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh, and Hanuman Ji. The architecture features intricate carvings, a peaceful corridor, and a calm, devotional atmosphere. There’s also a lift facility for senior citizens and people with mobility issues.
It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful visit, especially for those who can’t travel to the Himalayan Badrinath.
